This is in collaboration with Wonderland

customers really shouldn’t have to break the bank to stay looking fabulous” – wonderland

I love trying new makeup brands, it has always been one of my favourite things to do. I had the opportunity to work with this beautiful brand to try out and share with you some of their key products.

So you are probably wondering who and what is Wonderland? They offer cruelty-free makeup at an affordable price without affecting the quality. With 12 years experience in the industry and working with many brands worldwide, they know what their customers deserve and that’s having a product they can enjoy using to look and feel great.

So I will be sharing with you 3 products.

I have become obsessed with primers lately. It has now been a key product to apply before my foundation. I find it really is a game changer to how your base looks. This primer is a gel-like base and reminds me of the L’Oreal Infallible primer in terms of consistency. Only a small amount is needed and I only apply to key areas of my face which are my nose and cheeks, chin and forehead. I usually focus on areas that are the oiliest.

It absorbs into the skin well and blends with ease. I loved how it blurred my skin and gave me a matte base to work with. I found my foundation sat well with this primer and did not slide. The ultimate test for me is to see if this kept my foundation around my nose. It did keep hold for most of the day, I have yet to find a primer or a foundation that stays around my nose area all day. But I found it kept my face pretty matte and did not need to blot as much.

This is one product I have naturally phased out of as liquid matte lipsticks have taken over. But was excited to try this. Wonderland offers a large range of beautiful vibrant shades, they do sell one nude but as its normally a general favourite its already out of stock! Most of their range consists of red and pinks which is perfect for this holiday season and those cheeky work parties too!

This a beautiful pink tone, it’s not often a colour I go for as I tend to go for browns and nudes but it has a creamy formula and metallic finish. It’s very pigmented and felt very soft and moisturising to the lips and loved how it brightens up any makeup look.

Just like the lipsticks, wonderland offers a stunning range of 50 shades. This is a beautiful red that perfect for the Xmas season. Its long-wearing and has a long-lasting effect, The brush makes applying so easy and allows you to paint with even strokes. I loved how glossy it looked after applying a top coat. It lasted a long while and did not chip as quickly which is always a plus. This has become my favourite go-to red for those special occasions.

I adore this brand and absolutely obsessed with what I’ve tried so far, I am eager to try their other shades of their lipsticks and especially their blushes which look stunning.

Ooh the first thing I noticed about these were the packaging, I love how clean and professional it is!! I’m not usually a big wearer of primer but that lipstick looks and sounds gorgeous, I switch out mattes in Winter for more moisturising lip products so it’s perfect for me!

It sounds great! I’m always looking for new brands that won’t break the bank, especially since I became unemployed. It’s so much more tricky to find good but affordable products when you’re on a tight budget! Thanks for recommending Wonderland, I’ll check it out!

I’ve heard so many good things about this primer, I’d love to try it out. I also love the brand name as it reminds me of Alice in Wonderland who I’m named after, haha! x

I love that red shade of nail polish right there! I’ve never tried this brand but it sounds lovely

    • I’m not a huge user of Primers, but I love the sound of this one?! I have relatively oily skin, and I can sometimes find that primers just make this even worse than normal.. 🙈 The colour of that nail polish is gorgeous too, perfect for this time of year! 🙊

My skin is beyond oily and found the primer worked really well with my skin. Its oil free too which is always a plus! its blurred out my skin and left a matte finish something us oily skin need! lol. give it a go you may be surprised xx

I absolutely love that red nail varnish, so bright and vibrant- that’ll be perfect for Christmas! I recently received wonderland makeup too and I tried the primer today, I like it but I don’t love it just yet because I’m not the biggest fan of gel primers but hopefully when I use it again I will have better results as I tried it in a rush so knowing me I didn’t probably apply enough for it to be effective lool! Great review though Yasmin- loving the recent posts xx

Thanks hun! I loved the primer – it did grow on my after a bit of time tho as im used to cream based primers for sure! But i did find with this one – it blurred my skin and actually created a nice base for my foundation.

I have never heard of this brand before but everything looks amazing! The primer reminds me of the Smashbox primer, maybe because the name and packaging are quite similar :)x
