    Primark Beauty Range

If you told me I would be reviewing Primark beauty range and actually like it…! I would not have believed you. Well lets face it Primark are a great brand for getting those items on the cheap or perhaps needed a last minute outfit on the fly, but you would not instantly think beauty…

I always knew Primark had a beauty range but never ran to buy any, it wasn’t until I saw Grace Francesca YouTube video, her reactions alone of astonishment and outstanding praise made me want to quickly try this out.

Primark do offer quite a wide spectrum of products from powders, concealers and lip pencils. But I only choose a selected few that seemed worth to try out and are always to me the real decider factors.

    Foundation – £2.50

This is their My Perfect Colour foundation and they offer a relatively wide range of shades to cover most skin tones which was surprising. I got this in the shade of Toffee and Caramel as I thought mixed together would create a perfect tone for my skin.

It has a nice consistency and is not runny which was my first assumption. The shades are rich in colour and blends in very well. The foundation leaves a flawless canvas almost like skin. I loved it didn’t appear cakey and left no streaks and applied beautifully with my beauty blender.

Lasting power I did not find too awful. It does not stay for as long as 10 hours as an high-end foundation would. But still looked pretty good after 6 hours. I also found other products such as bronzer, powder, blush and concealer sat pretty well and if looking you would think it was one of my everyday foundations I used.

    Mascara – £2

This is the Total Effects Volume Mascara in a pretty gold chrome packaging.

The wand is pretty standard and it picked up all the lashes well. On its own, it elongated my lashes but did not have enough impact alone. But using this along with my Maybelline Lash Sensation mascara it truly made my lashes pop and gave it that stunning false eyelash effect.

    Blush – £2

This is pretty pink tone blush in the shade Infatuation it’s in a standard packaging but was pretty surprised how pigmented and creamy this is. It applies on to the skin so effortlessly and love how it brightens your cheeks leaving a subtle glow. I did find it did not last on the skin for long – it disappeared from my cheeks in a couple of hours or so was sadly not impressed by its staying power.

    Matte Lipstick – £2

This was probably my favourite product from the bunch! This was a gorgeous subtle nude shade. I loved the creaminess of this lipsticks and it applied so easily. The finish was stunning and left my lips looking soft, pigmented and left a beautiful matte finish. What surprised me the most was its staying power – I found it was still on my lips after a couple of hours! Even longer when I applied a lip pencil. This has become my top go to nude shade that I would reach for and the best bargain!

All in all, Primark have impressed me with their latest range, I was especially in love with their lipstick and the coverage of the foundation. Most products if not all are under £5 (shocking I know!) but I can definitely say it has taught me to never judge a price or its brand. They are some gorgeous hidden gems!

Have you tried the Primark Beauty Range?

For some reason I’m always scared to try foundations and mascaras from really cheap brands or brands like H&M beauty. I usually go for powder products like blushes! All of these look and sound amazing though especially the blush and the lipstick :)x

This is such a good review Yasmin! I love the sound of that mascara, it’s so cheap but looks like it might do the job. The fact that most products are under a fiver is perfect to me! I may check out primark beauty pretty soon xx

    • I’m yet to try any of the Primark Makeup Range, but I watched Gracie’s video too, and was shook at how incredible she looked! I guess at the prices, you can’t really complain too much about the items, but if they’re actually good quality too, even better! 🙊

Every time I go into Primark I wonder around this section but never pick anything up. I’m always scared the ingredients might be too harsh, how the hell can they get it so cheap, etc. But everyone is saying its amazing so really I should go out and try it x

I’ve never tried Primak beauty range. I know some of their products are pretty good, but I’m not exactly sure if I trust this chain enough to put their products on my face. Thanks for the review! I’ll think about it now that you said it’s okay and doesn’t make your skin melt.
