    Elf Products

I was excited to find out ELF cosmetics has finally hit the U.K. What’s even better it’s sold in one of my favourite beauty stores – Superdrug. I was lucky enough to receive a few ELF products during a recent event and these were two of my faves.

A stunning palette holding 4 gorgeous shades. You can mix and match to create a beautiful glow to the skin, it captures, diffuses and softens the light on the skin. Each pastel shade can be used to enhance your cheekbones and eye area with luminous effect.

Tip: To make the most of this highlight. Either spray your brush or your cheeks with makeup setting spray and apply. You can double layer this if you wanted more of a pop. I find this creates a defined glow without it looking powdery.  I love the simple black packaging, convenient for travel and it’s inexpensive.

MATTE LIP COLOUR | £4.50 (Shade: Tea Rose 463)

I am in love with their lip products. These ranges of matte lip colours are creamy, pigmented and a joy to apply. They feel very nourishing, moisturising and comfortable to wear on the lips. I love each of their shades, but this pink rose shade is perfect for your everyday summer look. Each lip colour comes in this jumbo sized, twist up lip pencil allowing precise lip application with ease. What’s more, it has a sharpener on the end if needed!

It has a rich pigment colour and is long lasting to the lips. I always apply a lip pencil first to define the shape of my lips and then apply this on top. Together – its a match made in heaven. Its also just as beautiful to wear on its own. I am  definitely on the hunt to buy their other shades (I currently have my eye on their nude shade!)

ELF cosmetics offer many other products from bronzers, concealers to foundations, so look out for further reviews on those! So far I am impressed with their brand, their packaging and of course their price point.

What are your thoughts on ELF cosmetics?

    Till my next post..
